The application portal for the 2025 academic year is now open.
To register as a new user, click on the Apply button at the bottom of this page. Students applying for Grades 5 through 11 are offered positions. We do not offer positions for Grade 12 only.
Please note that Grade 9 is our last entry year for day positions.
Due to the high volume of day applications, applicants and their families must live within a 35-minute radius of our campus and study in the Ontario curriculum to qualify for a day position.
Step 1:
Please complete the online application and submit the $175 application fee by credit card.
Step 2:
Once you have submitted the application, you can access the parent portal to see your application checklist. Upload the following documents directly to the checklist. Please submit all documents in pdf or jpg format.
- A recent photo of the candidate
- Candidate Statement form (downloadable form found in the checklist)
- Proof of legal name and age (birth certificate or passport)
- Confidential School Recommendation Form: emailed directly to your son's current teacher from the link found in your application checklist

Step 3:
Entrance Test
Grades 5-8
Applicants currently studying in Canada within the Canadian curriculum will write the CAT5 test at St. Andrew's College. Remote tests can be arranged for applicants not living near our campus. Once the application has been submitted, you can access the test date calendar to register your child for the test. SSAT results will be accepted in place of the CAT5 if your child applies to multiple schools.
Most international applicants are required to write the SSAT. Contact your assigned Admission Officer for more information before registering. Register at ssat.org for the applicable option that is best suited for your child. Please ensure the results are shared with St. Andrew's College, school code 6263.
