It is universally recognized that technology greatly influences our lives, both locally and globally. Not only does it affect business and government, but on an individual level, it provides tools for improving the lives of many people.
At SAC, we are very proud of our growing technology program. When we consider how valuable technology is to us and how broad-based technology courses help our students "to experience the real world," we feel compelled to do more.
That is why, in 2010, we welcomed the opportunity to host RoboCup Junior in Ontario and continue to do so. This year we are offering Lightweight Soccer at the secondary level and two versions of the Rescue Challenge at the secondary level. RoboCup Junior webpage. There is a maximum of four members per team and a cost of $50 per participant. The day starts at 9 a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m. All participants will receive a competition T-shirt. Lunch will be provided on campus for all participants and mentors.
