Expanding Transportation Access: New Simcoe County Morning Route

We are pleased to introduce a new morning transportation route serving Simcoe County beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

This route will support students travelling from Barrie, Innisfil, Cookstown, and Bradford and will serve students attending St. Andrew’s and St. Anne’s.

Over the past several years, we have seen a growing number of families commuting from communities north of Aurora. In response to sustained interest and demonstrated ridership demand, we are pleased to formalize a transportation option that supports these families while maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our overall bus program.

The morning route will include the following stops:
  • Costco Barrie
  • Hwy 400 & Innisfil Beach Road Carpool Lot
  • Tanger Outlets Cookstown
  • Bob Fallis Sports Centre, Bradford

Our transportation program continues to evolve in response to enrolment patterns, demonstrated demand, and operational feasibility. We regularly review ridership trends and continue to investigate potential route adjustments where there is sustained interest and sufficient capacity.

Current families interested in the Simcoe County route should contact Marta Ventura for registration details.
