We invite applications for a full-time opportunity at St. Andrew's College and St. Anne’s School in the role of Dining Room Server. The successful candidate will be scheduled to work at either St. Andrew’s College or our partner school, St. Anne's School, with the work location varying based on operational requirements. Scheduled shifts will include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
The primary responsibilities of the Dining Room Server include:
Maintain food tables and furniture for daily operations and special events
Serve meals with high professional standards
Polish silverware and proper washing of food items
Clean Dining Room equipment, floors, furniture, and surfaces
Assist with monthly deep cleaning of the dining room
Assist with limited food preparation (cut bread/bagels and assemble sandwiches, etc.).
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Comply with safe food handling and safe handling of cleaning chemicals (W.H.M.I.S)
We seek candidates with the following credentials:
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is required
Proven ability to follow oral and written instructions, and reliably work in team environment
Position requires considerable walking and standing for long periods
A current and satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $20.66/hour.
