Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year

Our new driveway sign greets students and staff with a multilingual message of welcome as St. Andrew’s College kicks off another great school year.

As families arrived on campus for the start of the school year, they were sure to notice the new driveway banners celebrating “Education’s Dynamic Duo” of St. Andrew’s and St. Anne’s School, which opened this month with a Grade 9 class referred to as the First Cygnets.

SAC has a full enrolment of 657 students from 27 countries – 260 boarders and 397 day students. The Middle School has 175 students, while the Upper School has 482 students. There are 38 First Cygnets situated in the Cygnets Centre on the SAC campus as they wait for the grand opening of their school next year.

Before the first week of school, we welcomed our student-athletes back to begin training camps, along with Upper School House leaders and Mac House Council members.

New Family Orientation Day for new Upper School boys and their families was hosted on Tuesday, Sept. 6; on Wednesday, Sept. 7, we hosted an orientation day for boys entering Grades 5-8 and their families.

On Thursday, Sept. 8, we officially opened with assemblies in Ketchum Auditorium. First Dress was required for opening day, but we are back to Warm Weather Dress until Thanksgiving.

Parents, please be reminded to watch for A Look Ahead each Friday when it arrives in your inbox. This newsletter contains all the information you need for the week and month ahead. If you need to refer back to an issue, you can find them here on the SAC website.
