Halloween spirit comes to St. Andrew's

In a time when face coverings are the norm, it was refreshing – and in some cases, scary – to see students dressed up in Halloween masks and makeup.

The St. Andrew’s campus overflowed with spooky, silly, and creative spirit Friday, Oct. 29. Boys showed up dressed in all manner of costumes, as did faculty and staff members.

The Middle School enjoyed Spookfest, although this year they took the festivities outside on the Quad, showing off at the costume contest and participating in various games, such a mummy wrapping and witch’s hat ring toss.

There were quite a few activities that centred around destroying pumpkins, to the delight of all students. Science lessons were taught as pumpkins were exploded on the triangle outside Mac House, and others were launched from slingshots.

In the Upper School, the students gathered in Ketchum Auditorium, where a series of skits entertained the raucous audience.

Towers Library also got in the spirit of the day, offering a display of spooky titles for all who dared.

Please take a look at this gallery of photos from the day.
