James W. Comfort attended St. Andrew's College from 1981-1986. He thrived at school participating in the many extracurricular activities and sports teams. Some of his accomplishments included: Best Cadet, Day Boy Prefect, Best Director - Drama and Goalie for many of the SAC and Rep hockey teams over the years. Jimmy would later graduate from McMaster University, with Honours in Economics.
The Comfort family was well-known on the SAC campus, as Jimmy's brothers - Robin '84, John '88, and Tim '89 - all attended the School throughout the 80's and their mother, Susan, served as the President of the Parents Guild.
In honour and memory of Jimmy, his friends and family have established a permanent endowed bursary fund in his name which will provide financial assistance to a young SAC student who exudes joy, has a passion for school life, and, all things being equal, patrols the crease on the ice for the Saints hockey team.
Thank you for your lasting support. Please know that your donation to this scholarship fund will be met with a charitable gift tax receipt.
