The Focus Festival of the Arts has been laying tracks for 32 years. The festival is always a group endeavour, but the 2021 edition has been executed with a level of collaboration that has taken on new meaning.
This month, the world paused to pay tribute to the life and accomplishments of HRH Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Perhaps his greatest legacy is one that has impacted hundreds of boys at St. Andrew’s College.
This last year has been quiet for the Cadet Corps on parade. However, we've been fortunate to be able to continue our leadership and expedition training on our campus footprint through the Leadership programs.
Michael Kurp arrived at St. Andrew’s College in grade 8 and has revelled in all that is involved in student life from the start. “St. Andrew’s has really allowed me to discover myself. The diversity of activities and the many things to participate in and experience has helped me realize where my passions truly lie,” says Michael.
As an independent school, we pride ourselves on the innovative ways we teach our students, using activity-based learning, cutting-edge technology, role-playing, and humour to engage and inspire. Our all-boys’ environment works. We have been teaching boys for more than a century, and we are committed to continuing the success. Our athletic, art, and co-curricular programs are amongst the most varied and comprehensive of any private school in Canada and inspire our students to discover their passion by tackling new challenges. While our facilities are exceptional, St. Andrew’s primary strength is its people. Faculty, staff, and students combine to make SAC a wonderful place.
