SAC Swimmers storm the pool

Your Saints ruled the pool Thursday, in a meet with 14 teams present and a lot of delays. Despite the logistical challenges, our boys were dominant.
At the Pan Am pool in Markham, Zachary Chua (OPEN) once again, took five golds in his three individual and two relay races, while Stephen Liu (OPEN) took three golds and two silver medals.

Tyler Chan (Jr.) picked up four golds and a silver in his three individual races and two relays, and Leonard Chen won his 50 breaststroke and two golds on both of his relays.

Matthew Situ took silver in the Jr. 50 breaststroke and two bronze medals in both of his relays. Alex Ventin had an impressive 100 freestyle placing 3rd and took home two golds on his relays.
Your Saints' team captain (Julian Settino) won the 100 backstroke and took bronze in the 200 Medley Relay, while Eric Situ won the bronze in the Sr.50 backstroke and went under the OFSAA qualifying time in the Sr. 100 Breaststroke for the first time!

This increases our numbers to 22 members under the OFSAA qualifying time. Drew Hamilton had an impressive meet winning his 50 butterfly and taking three bronzes in the 100IM and both Sr. relays.

Notable mention: Christopher Childerhose and Matthew Deo had 100% personal best times!
Next up: CISAA -Wednesday, Feb 14th-Markham PanAM pool.
