Curling Saints gain valuable experience against BVG

Your Curling Saints and Open teams hosted Bayview Glen yesterday at the Bradford Curling Club.
Although the Open Division game was an exhibition game, the boys in red came out with intensity.  Standing in the skip position was Charles Huang, who led his team with good strategy and shot making.  His teammates executed his plan and worked hard to ensure the team maintained control of the game. Well done, Nova, Kevin, and William.

In the Boys Division game, the story was quite different.  Facing off against the very experienced skip from BVG for a second time this season, SAC's Hale Lee knew he was in tough from the opening rock.
Despite some excellent strategic decisions, the Saints were unable to overcome inconsistent execution, which ultimately cost them the game. They can proudly say they took three of six ends, but they were never able to finish with multiple points counting. Team members Jacob Crocker, Tim Guo and Harry Zhao each made some impressive draws and takeouts in their roles.

BVG - 8
On sheets 3 & 4, we fired up the developmental bonspiel action.  Once this group has a few more games under their belts, we will provide a scoring update on their league.
