The triathlon team raced in the pouring rain yesterday in Milton. The competition was incredibly tough, as some of the most promising triathletes in Ontario were looking to qualify for the Junior National team. Our triathletes represented the school very well.
Michael Kurp ’18 was our fastest triathlete on this day, despite crashing his bike and sliding along the pavement. With blood on his ankle, knee, and elbow, he continued to race hard through the rain. Michael finished in 19th position.
Willem Grier ’19 and Alex Ventin ’21 also finished in the top 30 racers (26th and 27th respectively).
Congratulations to the entire team on the final race of the season.
