Ski teams caps season with OFSAA silver

The SAC Level 1 Alpine team spent the last two days at OFSAA in Collingwood, representing the CISAA at the Provincial Championships.
On Monday, the Saints we unable to capitalize on some decent morning runs on a sloppy and treacherous slalom course, and fell out of contention in the afternoon with some unfortunate mistakes and miscues. While the team was not overly successful on the day, Tony Sul had an exceptional result finishing 4th overall.
On Tuesday, we battled some really challenging conditions in our GS race. Like the previous day, we were sitting second as a team after our morning race, but this time consistent runs in the afternoon allowed us to maintain our position and ultimately earn the team silver medal. Cooper Scullion-Smeenk and Charlie Elliott had particularly strong days finishing 6th and 7th overall.
OFSAA silver was truly a fantastic way to cap off a challenging season filled with numerous ups and downs.
Congratulations to all the racers!
