Homecoming is when current and former students come together and celebrate school spirit. At St. Andrew’s, this day of festivities and fun is set for Saturday, Oct. 1 and the campus will be decked out for the fall celebration.
There is a full slate of sports for students, alumni, and guests to watch and cheer on their home teams. See the full schedule here and don’t forget to make your way to Yuill Field at 3:30 p.m. when the First Football Saints take on Upper Canada College. Both the 1st Soccer and 1st Football game will be live-streamed, click here to watch.
Be sure to wear comfortable footwear as you’ll be doing lots of walking; there are activities happening in a variety of places around the school.
The Quad will be home to a host of fun things to do and try from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., such as inflatables, face painting and other rides for the kids, and remember to check out the delicious bake sale hosted by the Parents Guild.
Speaking of food, students and visiting athletes can head to the Amphitheatre for a lunchtime barbecue from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Parents and Old Boys can enjoy a complimentary buffet lunch in Cole Hall from noon to 2 p.m.
If you’re in the shopping mood, the Vendor Marketplace will once again be set up in Staunton Gallery with a variety of vendors selling their wares. This year, there will also be a tour of the St. Anne’s Cygnets Centre! Drop by anytime between 1 – 3 p.m. to check out the new space for the St. Anne’s First Cygnets.
