Valentine's Day treats a sweet surprise for students
Monday lunch ended on a sweet note for students.
The Parents Guild greeted all students with a table brimming with colourful candy and chocolates to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Students (and staff!) look forward to this tradition of sharing treats, and the boys certainly gravitated toward the individually packaged bags of sweets.
In past years, parents have been asked to contribute homemade cookies, cupcakes, and other baked goods along with store-bought treats. This year, the donations were all pre-packaged chocolate bars and candy.
Members of the Parents Guild Executive gathered the donations during morning drop-off the week before, and volunteers spent the morning of Feb. 14 putting together goodie bags.
A heartfelt thank you to the Parents Guild for organizing this popular event, the moms and dads who made donations, and the volunteers who bagged them up for the students.
