Spanish students get creative cooking from home

This year’s Grade 11 Spanish cooking assignment looked a little different, but that didn’t stop students from making some mouth-watering dishes.
The project is the culmination of the food unit for Grade 11 Spanish students, and also serves as their final oral assessment. Normally, they prepare the meal during class time at SAC under the guidance of Head Chef, Davide Pontone. Dishes are then sampled by a group of judges.
For obvious reasons, this year they were not able to do a live cooking event. Instead, the boys created videos of themselves cooking and describing their recipe.

“It was a true success,” says their teacher, Claudio Numa, “We have a few young chefs in the making!”

Students uploaded their videos to YouTube so check out a few of them enjoying their time in the kitchen and preparing delicious food.
