The Golf team played its final tournament of the year before the CISAA championship this week at Shanty Bay Golf Club. Both the Junior and Varsity teams entered this tournament in great position, poised to do some serious damage.
Throughout the day yesterday, there were some incredibly fast times in the water, including a 5:36 minute 400m swim from Alex Ventin '21. This tied Alex for the fastest swim of the day with Ridley's best swimmer.
Drake Porter started his journey at St. Andrew’s College in the sixth grade. Following in his brother Chris’ ’11 footsteps, Drake transitioned into the goaltender position midway through his first season of U14 Lacrosse.
This week is Freedom to Read Week across Canada. Our right to choose what we read is enshrined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Sue Hayter, School Librarian, believes that’s worth celebrating: “The freedom to choose what we read – intellectual freedom – is a cornerstone of democracy. In Canada, we are lucky to have the choice - whether we agree with the point of view or not.”
