JV Basketball Saints keep playoff hopes alive

On the night of the grade 12’s last game at home in a Saints Basketball Jersey, they did their school proud.

Coming into the day, the boys needed a win against undefeated Crescent to keep their playoff hopes alive. In what was their most complete game of the year, your Saints were able to finally get over the hump and show that they deserve respect within this league.
Coach Carroll and I have been talking about the potential this team has to do great things, and today we finally saw their potential come to fruition. Finding ways to score and make crucial stops (including holding the opponents scoreless in the 3rd quarter) allowed the boys to build a lead that they would not relinquish.
A special shout-out must go to Adam Boston who had his coming out party, hitting crucial shots and grabbing important rebounds throughout the game.
The Saints playoff hopes are still alive and we proved today that we can compete with the best in the league.
