St. Andrew’s College invites applications for the following part-time position, three days per week (5 hours per day), following the academic calendar from September to June.
 
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, HEALTH CENTRE – Part-time
 
This position provides administrative support to the Director of Health & Wellness.  The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented individual with several years of administrative experience.
 
 Major responsibilities include:
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Health & Wellness
  • Maintain student files and update medical information in database
  • Document reports from Doctor’s Clinic
  • Order office supplies, kitchen items, and prepare laundry weekly
  • Assist with immunization clinics and compile reports for Public Health
  • Enrol international students under health plan
  • Manage student insurance claims process
  • Schedule and coordinate materials for the boarding student wellness program
  • Assist in the design of displays for the Health Centre waiting room
  • Create ‘Health Matters’ newsletters to students and staff
  • Update Health Centre website and add relevant content for students and parents
Skills required:
  • Secondary school education
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, ability to import/export data.
  • Ability to maintain client confidence, keeping information confidential
Knowledge of the Magnus Health Program is preferable
