OFSAA Silver for Alpine

The SAC Level 1 Alpine team spent two days at OFSAA in Collingwood representing the CISAA at the Provincial Championships.

On day one, the Saints we unable to capitalize on some decent morning runs on a sloppy and treacherous slalom course, and fell out of contention in the afternoon with some unfortunate mistakes and miscues. While the team was not overly successful on the day, Tony Sul had an exceptional result finishing 4th overall.

On day two, the boys battled some really challenging conditions in their GS race. Like the previous day, they were sitting second as a team after their morning race, but this time consistent runs in the afternoon allowed them to maintain their position and ultimately earn the team silver medal. Cooper Scullion-Smeenk and Charlie Elliot had particularly strong days finishing 6th and 7th overall.

OFSAA silver was truly a fantastic way to cap off a challenging season filled with numerous ups and downs. Congratulations to all of the racers!
