1st Soccer Hosts CISAA League Final

On Saturday, the St. Andrew’s College Saints 1st Soccer squad slipped past visiting AIFC 5-2 and will head into this week’s action riding a seven-match unbeaten streak.

SAC conceded first against AIFC, before roaring back behind three goals from physical left-winger Nat Bannister ’22. Bannister pounced on a rebound at the 18-minute mark to tie the game, with co-captain Owen Bradbury ’22 giving the Saints the lead just before half-time with a tidy free kick from 24 yards out.

Bannister added a pair in the second half to complete his hat-trick, with Ronan Woodroffe ’22 chipping home SAC’s fifth and final score of the afternoon.

With an abbreviated regular season already in the books, the Saints will now host St. Michael’s College on Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the CISAA Division One Final.

We hope to see you there!
