SAC Senior Earns U20 National Team Call-up & Saints Back In Action

St. Andrew’s College 1st Soccer goalkeeper Adam Mallalieu ’22 ‘got the call’ from the Barbados U20 National Team this week. Congrats Adam!
 
Mallalieu (pictured with Barbados) will venture to the Dominican Republic from November 5-14 for the Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Qualifiers. Barbados has been placed in Group C with Bermuda, Puerto Rico and St. Vincent & The Grenadines, with the group winner earning a spot in the Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship.
 
The Bridgetown-native has already tallied 15 international youth caps for Barbados with the U15, U17 & U20 national teams. His most memorable start came in 2019 versus global powerhouse Portugal.
 
For the SAC Saints in 2021, Mallalieu has collected three shutouts in five starts.
 
Back in Aurora, SAC Soccer will host AIFC at Yuill Field on Saturday.
