Homecoming Sports Round up

Andreans from all over were on campus enjoying our annual Homecoming festivities this past weekend. With a full schedule of featured SAC sports teams and lots of fun activities on the Quad, there was something for all members of the Andrean community from youngsters to Old Boys.

The sports schedule consisted of our Volleyball, Soccer and Football teams playing 14 games across the board. Below is a summary of how SAC’s teams performed:

While the Saints couldn't pull off a win, the coaches are proud of the boys for their hustle, communication, and sportsmanship on the court.

The U16 football team lost 34-7 this afternoon to a strong SMC team. The Saints were down 20-7 with five minutes left, and the final score does not reflect the effort put forth by your Saints.

Strong showings by Nolan Rush, Marcus Aitoro and Michael Zack on defence, coupled with the steady offensive output led by Mattias Jentsch, Robbie MacEachern, Liam Taylor and Caleb Williams made for a positive first outing. A lot of lessons learned!
