It’s Homecoming weekend, so drop by to connect with students, parents, Old Boys, and faculty.
This St. Andrew’s tradition dates back to 1926 when the College moved to Aurora. The 2018 Homecoming is happening Saturday, Sept. 22.
This year, there is something planned to please all members of the Andrean community, from youngsters to Old Boys.
Boys will be playing sporting matches throughout the day: soccer, volleyball, and football. Our 1st
Football Saints will play St. Michael’s at 3:30 p.m. on Yuill Field and this game will be livestreamed. The full sports schedule is here
. SAC fans are urged to get in the spirit by dressing in red and white.
The quad will be the place to be for families with young children. There will be games, inflatables, and crafts. Check out this list
If you’re in the shopping mood, check out wares offered in the Vendors Marketplace in Staunton Gallery. The Campus Shop will also open its doors for people wanting the latest SAC memorabilia.
And don’t forget the food! The Parents Guild will host a bake sale offering a tantalizing variety of homemade goodies. There will be a barbecue lunch for students and visiting athletes in the Amphitheatre, while parents and visiting Old Boys can drop by Cole Hall for a buffet lunch.
Old Boys will be meeting and greeting at the Class Reunion Dinners on Friday in Cole Hall. Alumni from the classes of 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2013 have been invited to reconnect with classmates and check out the changes on campus. Cocktails are at 6:30 p.m. in Staunton Gallery followed by dinner in Cole Hall.
