St. Andrew’s College is looking for tomorrow’s leaders – could that be you?
The Community Scholarship program is open to day student applicants from the towns of Aurora and Newmarket. Merit-based scholarships are available in each grade from 5 through 9. Awards are set at $20,000, and are renewable through graduation, provided the student excels in all facets of the School’s mission.
This scholarship will be awarded to boys who demonstrate strong character; are a respected member in their school community, sports, clubs, or associations; and/or heavily involved in community service. Scholar status is not a requirement for this award; however, the student must be capable.
Students interested in this award must submit a completed SAC application and an essay outlining why they feel they are a viable candidate to win the award based on the above criteria. Eligible candidates will be considered by the Community Scholarship program committee. Based on the merit of their overall application and submitted essay, successful candidates will be notified no later than April 30 each year. Scholarships will be awarded regardless of financial need but candidates requiring assistance will be given priority.
Apply to St. Andrew's College today to compete for the Community Scholarship program. Applicants who require financial assistance are encouraged to apply for a bursary, should they be unsuccessful in earning this award. A student bursary is granted through the College’s $2.7 million Financial Assistance program. To learn more about this program, please visit SAC FA Program.
