Congratulations to all swimmers for outstanding performances at the CISAA Championships last week!
Our Open (Club swimmers) team of 3 swimmers (Stephen Liu, Efstathios Mouratidis and Fynn McNolty) crushed the competition with a third-place finish overall.
Stephen Liu won both of his individual events, narrowly breaking the 1minute mark in his 100 backstroke.
Efstathios Mouratidis took 2.9 seconds off of his 100 butterfly winning silver.
Fynn McNolty scored 11 points to the Open category for his 200 freestyle race.

Our U16 boys had a heartbreaking second-place finish by one point. These boys battled every race, lost their voices supporting the team on the sidelines, and handled the loss with class and honour.
Hin Cheung was our top scorer, winning two gold medals in the 50 and 100 freestyle events.
Henry Paluch (Co-Captain) won the 200 freestyle.
Michael Chen (Captain) had impressive swims in the 100IM, 50 Fly, and 4x100 Open relay.
Rio Harada won bronze in his 100IM.
Patrick Cui, Kevin Zhou, Cameron Veisman, and Matias Gorchs had 100% best times.
Ilya Rahimi took a remarkable 13.67 seconds off of his 200 freestyle.
Kevin Zhou also won the silver medal in the 200 freestyle.
Oscar Liu's impressive swims earned him a berth on the OFSAA team.

Our Senior boys also had a heartbreaking result due to an error in the final calculation of points, having us win the championship title and then having it removed 24 hours afterwards. Proudly, your Senior boys supported one another with class and dignity throughout this challenging overturn.
Alex Ventin (Captain) led the charge with 100% personal best times and a silver medal in the 200 freestyle.
Tyler Chan (Co-Captain) won the100 breaststroke and placed third in the 100IM.
Matthew Deo won the 50 backstroke.
Evan Ellig won silver and bronze in the 50 and 100 freestyle, respectively.
Leonard Chen won silver in the 100 breaststroke with 100% personal best times in all events.
Tony GengLi earned a spot in the 100 breaststroke at OFSAA.
Liam Trnik won bronze in the 50 freestyle and had 100% personal best times.
Lucas DeMello had 100% personal best times for the second meet in a row!
