Middle School boys get creative on Visual Arts Day
From watercolour painting and portrait drawing to sock puppets and wire sculpture, it was certainly a time for Middle School boys to let their creative spirit flow.
The students spent the entire day in the company of professional artists from the community, learning, designing, building, shaping, colouring, imagining—basically letting their imaginations rule the day.
Each student had the opportunity to try his hand at a variety of workshops. Here’s a list of what was offered this year: sock puppets, clay turtles, improv, expressive arts, polymer creatures, portrait drawing, watercolour landscapes, wheel pottery, weaving, cartoon creations, photography, wire sculpture, pop art acrylic paintings, portraits in pencil, industrial design, sign making, clay creatures, and creative filmmaking.
