Saints swim to success at training meet

Members of the Swim Team attended the 200m freestyle meet where every swimmer raced the 200m (eight lengths) event, 100 individual medley, and the 100 freestyle race, plus their two relays and one event of their choosing. This training meet proved to the boys just how tough they are.
 
Notable races include:
 
Sr: Tyler Chan went under the OFSAA qualifying time in all six events; Leonard Chen went under the OFSAA qualifying time in the 100m breaststroke; Liam Trnik had a blazing 100m freestyle and went under the OFSAA qualifying time in 4 events.
 
Jr: Michael Chen went under the OFSAA qualifying time in four events, won four gold medals; Andrew O'Hare had 100% personal bests; Matthew Situ won the 50m breaststroke event – again; Troy Tsai had a tremendous meet and went under the OFSAA qualifying time in all three events.
 
Our Jr boys "B" team also went under the OFSAA qualifying time in the Jr 200 freestyle relay. Congrats to Matthew Situ, Henry Paluch, Ben Villamere, and Aiden van der Weg.
