St. Andrew's College Summer Camp offers one-week programs designed to build character by giving campers confidence in their own strengths and abilities. Each week offers a varied and unique summer experience as campers work toward individual and shared goals, develop skills in co-operation and communication, and enhance their self-esteem. The staff is trained and ready to deliver the key ingredient to any summer experience — FUN!

Our weekly camp programs deliver a full-day experience designed to meet the needs of each camper, based on their grade as of September.

Campers entering JK, SK, or Grade 1: KINDER-Stars Program

This kindergarten friendly program takes our youngest campers on daily themed adventures.  Campers will enjoy arts and crafts, science, scavenger hunts, nature walks, story-time, sports, sing-a-longs, and water  play.  The fun is as unlimited as their energy levels!

Campers entering Grades 1-9: Multi-Sport Program

Each week of our Multi-Sport option offers an active sports experience that features basketball, soccer, squash, volleyball, lacrosse, flag football, softball, ultimate frisbee, ball hockey, and a variety of co-operative games.

Campers entering Grades 1-9: Specialty Programs

Our Specialty options allow campers to develop skills and explore new interests in a variety of areas including science, visual arts, skill-based sports, media, performance arts, competitive robotics, and more!  Depending on the week(s) that you are interested in joining us, you will have a different variety of specialty programs to choose from, thereby allowing you the flexibility to create a camp experience that is specific to your camper’s interests and abilities.

Campers entering Grades 9-10:  Leaders in Training (L.I.T.) Program

This popular two-week program allows campers to develop their leadership potential by applying their skills in a variety of our camp’s programs. They will receive ongoing feedback during the program as well as a final report at the end of the two weeks to help them continue to grow and develop their skills. Due to the popularity of the program, those interested in the LIT program will be sent an application to complete and submit.

Camp runs daily from 9:00a.m.—4:00p.m.. We do not offer any half-day programs.

Campers can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and/or picked up as late as 5:15 p.m. for an extra fee. Enrollment in this program can be made any time before your child's first morning at camp. This program is fully supervised by our trained counselling staff, who offer activities designed to keep our campers busy until camp starts or their parents pick them up. We can provide care on a daily or weekly basis.

Parents must escort their campers to and from the facility.

Lunch and two snacks are included in the weekly camp fee.
Campers will receive both a morning and an afternoon snack, consisting of a juice and a snack item! For lunch, campers may choose from a variety of nutritious items served in our air-conditioned dining hall. Please contact the camp office to speak about medically prescribed dietary needs and restrictions.

For the safety of our campers with allergies, we ask parents not to send any food items to camp.

A 40 minute recreational swim is a daily part of our program for all Junior and Senior campers. Campers get to cool off in our 25-metre indoor pool under the careful supervision of our NLS-certified lifeguards. Campers have a wide selection of floatation devises, and will be joined by their counsellors in the pool. Campers interested in swimming in the deep end must be able to swim one length of the pool unassisted (supervised by a lifeguard). Successful campers will receive a red "Deep End Bracelet" that must be worn for the week. Our KINDER-Stars campers participate in age-appropriate water play instead of swimming in the pool.

Specialty Showcase:
Campers enrolled in certain specialties (see program descriptions) will have the opportunity to share their week's accomplishments with friends and family in the Specialty Showcase. A schedule will be included in the Thursday Bulletin for each week. Some specialties may choose to continue regular programming.

Mass Game:
Our other campers* will enjoy a team-oriented activity that gets the whole camp involved! Favourites include "SAC Olympics, "World Cup Challenge", "Mario Kart Cup", and a Carnival! Team lists and game-related instructions will be included in the Thursday Bulletin for each week.

*Includes all afternoon Multi-Sport campers and most non-showcase Specialty campers; some specialties may choose to continue with regular programming

The care and safety of our campers is our number one concern. We carefully plan our staffing to adhere to specific Staff-to-Camper ratios in each of our programs.

KINDER-Stars: 1 Staff for every 6 Campers (1:6)
Instructional Swim: 1 Staff for every 6 Campers (1:6)
Multi-Sport, Specialties & Recreational Swim: 1 Staff for every 8 Campers (1:8)
