CIS Ontario Visual Arts Festival

St. Andrew's College presents the third annual CIS Ontario Visual Arts Festival on the theme:

Creativity X Innovation.
In our visually rich and interconnected world, creative innovators are emerging as industry leaders. Young artists are being actively sought out in a variety of fields from design houses to global corporations. We invite top senior student-artists from Ontario independent schools to join us in exploring new media and innovative approaches to art making, as well as in forging network, study, and career paths in creative fields.
We suggest participating schools elect 5 – 10 of your most committed grade 10-12 visual and/or media artists to join us. Along with morning and afternoon artist workshops, we will also have a university fair featuring some of Ontario’s top art & design post-secondary institutions and interactive displays.

Registration to be completed by participating schools with CIS Ontario (REGISTER). Cost is $65 per student, including workshop participation & studio/art materials, university fair, refreshments, and a buffet-style lunch. Participating schools must arrange own transportation and send a chaperone-teacher with students. Chaperone-teachers are invited to visit and document morning workshops and the gallery walk, join us for lunch, and to take part in a conference and networking session during the afternoon workshop.
