The School’s second Headmaster from 1900-1935, Rev. D. Bruce Macdonald, did not want students in the stands; he wanted students on the playing fields! That remains a central focus of the St. Andrew's approach today.
The St. Andrew's College 1st Team travelled to Lake Placid, NY over the weekend and impressed the group of NCAA coaches on hand, and definitely put SAC Soccer on the North American soccer map with their performances.
The young St. Andrew's 1st Team cruised through the group stages, quarters and semis at the CAIS National Soccer Championship, before getting outmuscled in the final and dropping a 2-1 decision to Crescent School.
Wednesday afternoon, in between thunderstorms, our (undefeated and yet to be scored on this season) Toronto visitors put on a clinic of skilled passing, perfectly-timed checking, and sure-footed finishing.
The St. Andrew's College 1st Soccer Team extended their winning streak to six games, with two more victories this past week. Leading the way was new-boy Eduardo Kuri ’23, who buried three goals on Homecoming weekend.
