Our faculty are committed to providing a stimulating classroom experience that leverages the latest research in the areas of pedagogy and technology.
SAC students have the opportunity to travel with their peers to Europe, Africa, Asia and South America through programs such as SASSAW and the Battlefields Trip.
Pride in Performance: SAC students are poets, musicians, actors, painters, and film makers.
Living away from home teaches independence, life skills, and will allow your son to take even greater advantage of the co-curricular evening programs. Save the travel time to and from school!
The School’s second Headmaster from 1900-1935, Rev. D. Bruce Macdonald, did not want students in the stands; he wanted students on the playing fields! That remains a central focus of the St. Andrew's approach today.
In 2009, St. Andrew’s introduced an Extended French program in the Upper School. Intended for students who wish to further their French language study while appreciating francophone culture around the world, the program challenges students in their knowledge, language skills, cultural understanding, and world experience through an exciting combination of study, field trips, exchanges and trips abroad.
Smaller class sizes, additional exposure to the French language, opportunities for French exchanges and immersion trips all make this an exciting course of study.
After completing 7 credits (4 French language classes + 3 courses taught in French), students will receive a Ministry of Education Certificate in Extended French.

The goal of the program is to equip the graduates with the ability to communicate naturally in French using a wide range of skills. As with any academic endeavour, the personalities and abilities of students will have an impact on individual outcomes. If you would like your son to be enrolled in this program, please contact Nicholas Day, Co-ordinator of the Extended French Program at nicholas.day@sac.on.ca , or Michael Paluch, Director of Academics at michael.paluch@sac.on.ca; admission is selective and there is a limited class capacity.
