HEADMASTER'S WELCOME

Welcome to St. Andrew’s College! It is with great anticipation that I look forward to beginning my 4th year as Headmaster of this fine school. The 2012/2013 year will mark the school’s 114th year. I am very confident that this will be another outstanding year at the College. We will undoubtedly share many successes together in the multitude of activities that the boys will be engaged in throughout the school year.

In the coming weeks, I encourage you to take an hour of family time to sit down and read this very important publication, the Parent & Student Handbook.  It contains pertinent information regarding school life.

Throughout the year, I will refer to various rules and regulations contained in this publication, as will your son’s Teachers, Advisor and Housemaster. While all the information is relevant, the section entitled, “Community Standards, Regulations and Guidelines” is vitally important.

Since verbal messages concerning school rules are often not heard, we have compiled most of the information that you will need to know for the 2012/2013 school year into this document. Every year, we request that new parents and their sons sign a contract which stipulates that they have read the handbook and agree to abide by the rules and regulations contained therein.

St. Andrew’s College is not an ordinary place. This is a special environment which provides abundant opportunities for boys to mature and excel. Students are strongly encouraged to become actively involved in all that this great school has to offer. I am looking forward to another exciting year of student successes. I look forward to seeing you in September.
