CAMPAIGN SUCCESS TO DATE: $29.5 mILLION (80%)
OUR NEXT TARGET: 100% ($37 MILLION) - ARE YOU IN?
St. Andrew's is ... Not An Ordinary Place
We live in an increasingly competitive and complex world. Although SAC continues to outperform and excel in its extensive academic, athletic and co-curricular pursuits, parents have more choices than ever before about where to educate their sons.
In order to maintain our reputation as one of Canada’s finest all-boys boarding schools, we must continue to outshine and to deliver the best education possible to future Andreans.
The 3 Phases of the $37 Million
Not An Ordinary Place Campaign include:
Phase 1: The Yuill Family Athletic Complex - $6.5 million
Opened Spring 2012
Revitalized Upper Fields, including synthetic turf for football, soccer, lacrosse, track and field; a baseball diamond; two outdoor multi-sport courts; as well as grandstand seating and additional parking, provide a safe and versatile athletic venue worthy of our Andrean traditions.
Phase 2: Academic and Dining Facilities - $22 million
Construction began March 2013
Centre for Leadership, Innovation and Performance - $10.4 million
Includes centres of excellence in a number of priority areas: music, engineering and robotics, and business and leadership. Enhanced facilities and activity-based labs will enable SAC to continue to offer its students a technological and artistic advantage.
Wirth Centre - $9 million
A centre for the performing arts with an enlarged auditorium and thrust-stage theatre to house awe-inspiring music and drama and to serve as a gathering space for the entire Andrean community.
Great Hall & Food Services Centre - $2.6 million
A modernized Great Hall and food preparation area to facilitate and improve the daily shared meal-time experience of 750 students, faculty and staff.
Phase 3: La Brier Family Arena - $8.5 million
Construction expected to begin May 2013
The La Brier Family Arena is a multipurpose facility to be situated on the upper fields directly across from the Yuill Family Athletic Complex. Named for its lead donor, the arena stands to be a remarkable complement to the athletic offerings at St. Andrew's College - and will finally give the School's hockey program a home right here on campus.
We must preserve our history of being not an ordinary place. Please give back to keep it that way.
We are counting on all members of the St. Andrew's College community to participate in the Not an Ordinary Place Campaign. Please peruse this website to learn more about the Campaign priorities. For more information, or to discuss your commitment at greater length, please contact:
