CISAA Track Championships, Day 1 (1st Track & Field, 1st Track & Field)

It was a solid first day today for your Saints Track and Field team, particularly for our grade nines.
-Angelis Prattas and Andrew Jun finished 1-2, respectively, in Midget Boys shot put. Andrew also won javelin.
-Avery MacKenzie won the 1500m, blasting past the lead runner over the last 400m.
-Mark Mackey won Midget Boys pole vault
Also qualifying for the Metro Championships next week:
- Daniel Cummings, 4th in Midget Boys 100m
- Parker Harris and Quinton Gray, 2nd and 4th respectively, in Midget Boys long jump
- Midget Boys 4X100m relay team
- Braden Noxon, Kris Townsend and Mitch Carter, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in junior pole vault
- Justin Moryto, 2nd in senior boys high jump
- David Ogbeide and Steve Townsend, 3rd and 4th in senior pole vault
