“I'm studying Mechanical Engineering with an Option in Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Because it's a co-op program, I had my first four-month work term from January until April.
"I found out as soon as I started classes my first year how well SAC had prepared me for university. Because of the strong academic focus of St. Andrew's, I entered university with a rock-solid understanding of fundamentals. My grade 12 courses also explored more advanced university-level topics and made the high school to university transition a piece of cake. I also have the privilege of being in a Co-op program; I spent four months at the beginning of this year working at S&C Electric, a high voltage transmission company in Toronto. The communication and professional relationship skills that I learned at SAC were incredibly useful during my work term. I have never been more thankful than I am now that I had the opportunity to attend St. Andrew's College.”
