On behalf of the entire Andrean community, I would like to thank you for including St. Andrew’s College in your search for an independent school. Finding the right school is one of the most important decisions you will make, one that will have a profound impact on you for the rest of your life.

A common theme I hear again and again from our students is that they attend SAC not just for the academics, but for the entire experience. St. Andrew's is a place where boys discover that learning is fun. From the moment they wake up, until they fall into bed at the end of the day, our students are encouraged to become the best they can be academically, artistically and athletically. They truly embody our mission statement:  "the development of the complete man, the well-rounded citizen." 

We pride ourselves on the innovative ways we teach our students, using activity-based learning, cutting-edge technology, role-playing and humour to engage and inspire. Our all-boys’ environment works. We have been teaching boys for more than a century, and we are committed to continuing the success.

The students constantly inspire me; it is a joy to watch them flourish and achieve their potential during their time at St. Andrew’s College. A student who arrives on campus as a grade 5 boy can’t even begin to envision his inner potential, but he will certainly discover it during his time here. He could never imagine that he might be capable of scoring the winning try in a rugby game, performing on stage in a student play, and leading the Pipes & Drums Band – all within a 24-hour period. And yet we have seen boys achieve the unimaginable, time and time again.

With more than 114 years of tradition, St. Andrew’s is not an ordinary place. My wife, Karan, and I feel fortunate to be raising our family in such an extraordinary setting. The Andrean community is like nothing we’ve experienced before. It’s a place where teachers and staff truly care about the students, where alumni stop by to visit their old home and rekindle their pride as Andreans, and where parents get involved in all aspects of your education.
