Music - MS

John Richardson joined the faculty of St. Andrew’s in 2004, teaching music in the Middle School. He holds a B.Mus. and B.Ed. from the University of Toronto, and taught at Crescent School in Toronto before coming to St. Andrew’s. John organizes and oversees many student groups, such as the Middle School Band, Jazz Band, Honour Band and Brass Ensemble. He also runs the Middle School intramural sports program in the fall and helps with Track and Field meets in the spring. When John is not working in the Music Department, he can be found playing soccer or basketball with the students. John lives in Barrie with his wife Julie, and three children: Jasmine, Jaden and Jordyn.
