Trena Evans

Trena Evans joined the SAC faculty in 2009 as Head of the English Department. She received her BA(Hons.) from the University of Alberta and her MA and Ph.D. from The University of Western Ontario. Previously, Trena taught at The University of Western Ontario, Columbia College and, most recently, The Country Day School. She has taught all levels of English Literature, Language and Composition, in addition to Media, Film and Journalism. Trena is on the Teacher Advisory for the Hot Docs Film Festival’s Youth and Education Programs, and advises students on publications and video production. Trena also coaches Junior Cross Country and Debating. She lives in Richmond Hill with her husband Anthony.
