Business Office

Hours of Operation

The Business Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday throughout the year.

Tuition Fees and Payment Plans

For the 2013-14 year, three payment plans are available - an annual plan, an instalment plan and a monthly plan. To review the details of each option and the related tuition fee, please click here.  Under all three plans, a 20% tuition payment is due on April 1, 2013 in order to hold the student's registration for the coming year.

Other Mandatory fees and charges

Please see the Tuition and Fees page in the Admission section for current information about this topic.

Canadian Income Tax Deductions

The Income Tax Act allows parents or students to deduct certain expenses. Taxpayers should review their own circumstances with their professional advisors.

Items Details
Child Care expenses

May be claimed by the spouse with the lower net income for children under the age of 16.  Receipts which may be used to claim this deduction are mailed out by the Business Office in February.

Advanced Placement Course Students who enrol and complete AP courses in their graduating year are eligible for a receipt for post-secondary education based on a fixed percentage of tuition per course.

Payments

Payments may be made by cheque (made payable to St. Andrew's College) or via internet or telephone banking at the following financial institutions:  TD Canada Trust, CIBC, Bank of Montreal and Scotiabank.

The Student Identification number will be required when registering with the bill payment service through the banks. This number is located on the top right-hand corner of your Student Billing Statement and on the student report cards, and is an eight (8) digit numeric code. Student Identification numbers are assigned to students once their registration has been processed. The number remains the same throughout their time at the school.

Credit cards can be used for incidental charges  and may be registered with the Business Office for the purpose of making automatic payments against a student's account monthly. Credit cards may only be used toward tuition and other mandatory fees if the parent chooses the monthly payment plan.

Payments from international parents

Parents from other countries may use our international payment service through Travelex. Please click here for further information.

Travel & Airport Shuttles

The Business Office will assist students with travel arrangements and in organizing shuttles to the airport around school breaks. The Business Office will also help students apply for student transit passes in the Toronto area.

Online Statements

Parents may view their accounts online by signing in through Net Classroom using their son's Student Identification Number and the password assigned to them.  Statements are no longer mailed out except on request.

Safekeeping Services

The Business Office will keep passports and airline tickets for students. Additional spending money should be left with Housemasters who also have access to a safe.
