SAC Athletic Awards 

 

 

 

 

SAC student-athletes are eligible for the following athletic awards:

Headmasters Trophy - Athlete of the Year
Awarded to the student-athlete who has played on a First or Senior team in each of the three terms during his graduating school year, and who has represented St. Andrew’s College according to its best traditions, having exhibited the highest level of ability and sportsmanship.

Athletic “A” Award
Awarded to graduating student-athletes at SAC who make an outstanding contribution to the sports program at the School.  Student-athletes must accumulate 80 points or more for their participation at the first team level over their last 3 years at SAC

Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards
The MVP award for all teams other than 1st teams consists of a gold medal with the sport, year and MVP inscription. For 1st teams the award consists of a plaque with the school crest and the sport, year and MVP inscription.

The David “Juice” Josselyn Award is presented by the 2002-2003 1st Basketball team, in honour of Mr. Josselyn’s 20th year as 1st Basketball coach, to the person making the largest contribution to Basketball over his career at SAC

The Mark James Oliver Memorial Trophy is presented by his family, friends and classmates, in memory of Mark, SAC 1980-1985, to the person making the largest contribution to rugby over his career at St. Andrew's College.
