One of my cousins went to St. Andrew’s and he really encouraged me to apply for grade 7. My first year here was one of my best years I’ve had at any school. They taught me how to get organized and it was just a wonderful opportunity. The environment that St. Andrew’s holds – the kinship, all the boys are friends and even the teachers are part of this; they are always willing to help.

Mr. Kyle is my debating coach and really helped me with the speeches I’ve done. He has been a phenomenal influence on what I’ve accomplished here. At last year’s Prize Day I won the Rupert Ray Award for debating. It was such an honour.

This year I served on the Middle School Council. There are six of us and we serve as the main student leadership body for the Middle School. I also played volleyball, basketball and tennis. I’m looking forward to starting in the Upper School in September.
